The Day (Week) After
January 3, 2016
if I give my all to you,
will you stay?
his answer was yes
yet his actions were no
I settled for less
a movie and a quicky in the back of a truck
he had what he wanted
and left me with nothing but my subconscious
never a text or call
saying he loves me like the night before
he went with pride to his brother,
to say he took what I valued the most
I have no idea what to do
even when everyone says
"forget it."
I could never forget my first time
it is the worst memory that will follow me to my grave and beyond there
