At first, it was genuine.
We were vivid flowers in the Amazon Jungle.
We were the glowing backlight in the inky dark night.
We were brighter than the intense noonday sun.
Life was great until that day.
The day there was an explosion.
Instantly, the glint in our eyes was gone.
Divorce was an intense explosion of reality.
It was a game of compromise I did not want to play.
It was a lifelike movie I could not run from.
It was a dark cave where I could not see the end.
