Favorite Quote:
Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.

She flies away as fast as her wings can support her
Bristled trees stand in her way
Too tall to be vanquished.
As the strong gusts of wind blows through
Her bright youthful feathers flutter away
She tries hard to chase after them
Not yet ready to lose a part of herself,
Her innocent side.
Not yet ready to be vulnerable
In the dark sides of the world
Something catches up to her,
She looks behind and sees a dark shadow
Within the dark undergrowth
Of the hidden forest.
It’s breath fast against her.
It’s vulgar words in her ear.
“You may never escape from the dangers of the world
However far you run.”
Her wings extend high above her head,
As her figure supports her diligently.
She cries:
“Not anymore, foul beast.
This time it is my turn to show the world what it is all about.”
And with that,
Her silhouette shown a bright outline
In the nightly sky, under the blue moon.
It decorated the night,
Showing the world of its angelic presence.

Everyone thinks that the world is evil, that everything is sugercoated. They inspired me to write this piece that shows that even though there is evil in the world, goodness will always try to shine through and overpower it.
