Alarms sounding
Singing sounds of distress
A cat claws
At empty veins with love
Playing a beautiful bereaved melody
Simply perplexing
Words spill across time
Filling an hourglass with
Dying breaths
Life floats across the sand
Leaving nothing but a penny
Veins cutting
Cats scratching
Life passing
Time laughing
Singing sounds of distress.
