Eternal Dreams
Sometimes you’re caught in a dream
A really good dream
one you could hold onto and run around in forever.
Until you wake
and that dream is only what you thought you wanted,
not what you needed.
You try to think on that dream,
what happened,
what was so perfect about it?
But as quickly as it came,
it leaves.
But then we continue on with our day.
We go to bed the next night.
And we experience new,
better dreams,
only to forget them again.
