Not the good
Not the evil
Just the people
Not the shooter
Not the shot
Just the people
Just the legs crossed and feet cold
People
My mouth screams for the people
Not the rapist
Not the raped
Just the people
Not the bully
Not the bullied
Just the people
Just the hands shaking and tear filled
People
Just the swaying hips and mindless brained
People
Cold dead finger tips
I write for the people
