Gentle blankets
embrace your faults
layers of comfort,
feel warm, soft, happy
all mine
wrapped and hugged
Bundled and tucked
holding me tight,
absolutely safe
and sound.
it knew my dreams,
kept my secrets
caught my tears
and understood me
Always there
Just like you were.
