"Taking a Break"
I once loved peace.
She left,
Divorce papers in hand shouting
“You cannot know me.”
She flew to Paradise, USA on a plane
I never caught.
She left me with children
Named Hope and Worry
Destined to always chase after her dove
Shadow thrown briefly
Over the centuries
Never present but for an hour
When she pops in to build
A Golden Age with all the wishes ever sent her way.
