A Walk
The touch of a soft wool scarf wrapped warmly around your neck.
A button down coat brought down past your wait.
Frost covered boots step through crisp fresh fallen snow.
Pine fills the air along with a mixture of smoky wood
burns below chimneys in the distance.
Thoughts of snowflakes, birds flying in a familiar V shape.
The snowmen in front yards, red cardinals perched on their frosted arms.
Walks on cold winter mornings.
Walks with a soft wool scarf wrapped warmly around your neck.

This is another poem I have written in my free time, and had the chance to edit in a workshop. I hope you enjoy the imagery of a walk on a winter morning.
