Reality
Reality strikes like running into a wall or a flash of bright white--temporarily blinding
Constantly afraid, we attempt to take the jump, the jump into a Valley of Happiness.
Tiptoeing around the shrubs and bunnies, we don’t imagine falling into muddy puddles as we wake from a deep slumber.
We turn hope on high, promised to see yellow stars circling our heads as we reach for the impossible.
We feel giddy as we discover the edge of silver, so perfect. So smooth. Untouched. Perfectly polished. Yet, reality strikes and we land back on our unbalanced teeter-totter called Life.
