Twice The Damage
Half the damage
twice the pain
they claim the right to judge you
but they don’t even know your name
“that girl” and “that weirdo”
lurk in your brain
you show half the damage
but you feel twice the pain.
They play with your image
but your life’s not a game
they say that you’re different
but they’re all the same
they cause the most damage
and you hide all the pain
You wake up every morning
with nothing to say
and when you don’t wake up
it’s you who’s to blame
they don’t see the damage
and you don’t feel the pain.
