Blazing Bright
I have a need to play with fire -
to sit in darkness and watch the embers rise,
while shapes leftover from ash dwindle away to dust.
I have a dream to be ignited
by the flames of my youth long forgotten,
to set this world ablaze, myself, if no one else will dare.
I've always been one to follow smoke where it takes me,
to run with the wind, chasing noise.
I guess that's led me here.
I've always been one to play with fire, to dream of smoke,
and now I'm blazing bright.
Now I'm blazing bright.
