Writing a poem
Poem
They tell me to write a poem
But i can't
My mind is empty
Like this page i'm supposed to be writing on
I write and write and write
Only to delete everything i write
I stare into the empty white page
Hoping for words to show up
But they don’t
Then there i am pissed off
Tick tock
Tick tock
Tick tock
That dreadful noise
Mocks me
Telling me that i can’t
That i can’t write one
stupid poem
Ideas and ideas
Rush through one ear
But out the other
Leaving me empty like this page
Then it hits me
I know what to write about
I get excited like a kid getting
A balloon on a warm summer day
Ding
Ding
Ding
The bell rings
Sadness flows through my body
For my
Balloon has flown away
