Today I Am Free
On that faithful day
many people were put to lay,
fear backed me to a wall
all my worries stacked up tall
I am not enough to hold them all,
today I am given the since of fear
but peace, love, and freedom are here,
through the darkness shines light
as the day turns to night,
I stand and stare
at what happened there,
as I begin to cope
there shines freedom and hope,
I could have backed down
but I knocked fear to the ground,
today I am free
there is no fear in me,

I wrote this for all those who lost their lives to the 9/11 attack. This goes out to all the families of all the victimes.
