I boarded the ship
As excitement ran down my back
So anxious to go on this trip
Couldn’t believe it
Couldn’t stop moving
Hugging my siblings
Wanting to scream of frantic yells
We were finally on the ship
After months and months of waiting
Joy filling throughout my whole body
After hours and hours
Were off to the Bahamas
Never been so happy in my life
Days and days went by of
Fun and cheerful adventures
We arrived in the Bahamas
More than ready to meet with dolphins
Wanting to race off the boat
Jumping up and down
Couldn’t stop smiling
The dolphin we met
Couldn’t be any sweeter
Full of love and laughter
As the dolphin and I hugged each other
The dolphin waved goodbye
As my sorrow soul waved back
Disappointed to leave
Knowing that an experience of a lifetime
Is coming to an end
Heartbroken as if I wanted to
Break down into tiny pieces
Still sad but still a memory
That will last forever.
