Gateway to Heaven
Nobody really knows her
Except the chosen few.
Her secrets are kept hidden
Behind that sun-kissed hue.
As I try to reach out to
touch her soft-pale white skin.
I wait for her que.
She has eyes of lake clay with a tint of emerald green,
As I take her hand
And lead her through the black rounded door.
It’s a safe haven for one I adore.
Her crystal-white smile shines
through her nude-pink lips.
She looks at me with eyes of complete relief
and whispers
“I’m ready to leave.”

This is about depression, having god take your hand as he leads you to heaven, (happier place).
