Autumn
Red, orange, brown, and yellow
Those are the words that fall onto the pages of my mind
Curling up among the lines and forever etched into them
Melting into a sea of letters
With waves calm and sloshing in a distant breeze
Some get swept up and blown far into the horizon
Where they are forgotten until the next sun rise
Then, they block out the light and travel in the blanketed sky
Each containing a dream;
Some brightly smiile while others are belittled by time
The first frozen stars fall and create a white sheet of paper
That sparkles with possiblility of a new dream,
A new start,
A new dream,
A new word to call its own
It blooms into something that could be stronger,
more resilient than the last
But it will change,
evolve,
travel to a different galaxy in my universe both within and out of my mortal shell
It may remove its legs and cease to walk
It mat buckle and crumble under pressure
But it will be for the better since in order to be strong, there was a point of weakness.
