I am a pug with hopeful round eyes,
a pug whose cuteness is its own disguise.
I am a pug who endlessly grooms,
its coat must be perfect, the cleanest in the room.
I am a pug with chubby stomach folds,
a pug who always comforts its friends new and old.
I am a pug who knows when something isn’t right,
so I’ll sit beside you and hug you through the night.
I am a pug with an inquisitive curly tail,
a pug whose headstrong stance will never fail.
I am a pug who is as stubborn as a tack,
but do not be fooled, I will always have your back.
