Like His Daddy
He acts like it’s all fun and games,
But in reality it’s the real world,
He’s stealing and dealing,
Like his daddy did before him.
He shows no respect to him mother,
And he doesn’t know how much it’s killing her,
To see her baby boy, go to jail.
Probation and court dates,
He’s screwing up everything,
That everyone built.
Momma tries to teach him right,
But he refuses to believe he’s better,
Then the daddy he has.
He’s angry and hurt,
That the man he calls dad,
Lives in a metal box with bars.
He doesn’t except reality,
He doesn’t except he’s smart,
Smarter than the man he calls daddy, behind bars.
