I Am the Human Body

All too forgiving, healing each time I am broken.
I cannot help but close all wounds, no matter how deep.
I hope for the best, but am always prepared for the worst.
Endlessly hardworking, for if I stop I will not carry on.
Blood does not run through the veins and supply its surroundings with life,
without the endless throb of the heart.
A schedule for sleep, a schedule for consciousness,
everything occurs as planned.
Like a type A perfectionist, the human body is never late.
