The night is like my sun,
Even when dark and there is no light
The stars always light up my night.
I lay in my bed trying to  go to sleep
And slow down my thinking mind
As I toss in turn under the covers,
All I can think of is the night
And those stars and moon looking down at me

I suddenly can’t help  myself
I need to look at them
My stars
My moon
My eyes glance up at them
And I then know,
I can rest now.
