Meaningless
Meaningless.
To lack a sense of purpose
To be insignificant or worthless
A pointless player in the game of life.
Once, I felt I was the opposite of that,
Meaningful.
I was a presence to be enjoyed, the embodiment of comfort.
But now I’ve opened my mouth far too many times.
Incoherent words jumbled into nonsense
I filled every void with unintelligible sentences.
Perhaps the question here is not why I still open those trivial lips of mine,
But why people still stick around to hear the rubbish that spills out.
