Oh, Sleepy Mind

I'm tired.
I'm so, so tired.
I can hardly hold my heavy lids open;
I can hardly stay awake.
The temptation to put my head down is strong,
but if I let myself sleep,
I'm afraid I'll never awaken.
Oh, sleepy mind, do stay alert.
I'm tired.
I'm so, so tired.
My head is filled with rocks,
weighing me down, down, down.
Oh, sleepy mind, do stay alert.
