Thumbs-down tears draining
Into sad-face puddles.
“A mouthful of braces”
“Little-too-much” and “Much-too-little”
A foot short, a note off
A smudged line
Skin scrubbed only
Pink raw
Hairfallingoutin patches wearing half-
Scuffed suede shoes
Gray skies, scratched watches, bleached shirts, frayed curtains
And the sun with only a hint of yellow.
