Ignorance
I left it on for you, the light. Just in case. Just in case you wanted to come back to me. To us. Excuse the mess, I haven’t been myself lately. Too many things changed at one time. I'm really struggling, but it’s okay. You know the table in the kitchen, the one covered in paint from our crafts together, walk right past it, please. It’s a mess. Plates and jars cover the rough wooden surface. I didn’t want to move anything from where we left it. You know the couch, where we had our countless movie nights, ignore it. The popcorn crumbs, blankets, pillows, DVD cases are all still piled on. I left them there for you, if you ever came back.

This is about a friends of mine, and a sister of mine, (both can apply) that left me for somebody better. Either a new friend group or a new boyfriend.
