The End
I want to write something about you
I want to write something special
Something meaningful
Elegant
Complete
But how can I write something
Already written
I could change our names
I could change our setting
But I can’t change our story
I can’t change the way it ends
I want to write about the memories
I want to write about the nights
The days
The beginnings
The middles
But how can I write something
Already written
I want to write something you’ve never heard before
But our story is so cliche
So redundant
So relatable
I want to write you out of my head
I want to write you out of my heart
Yet I sit here
Typing black letters onto a not so blank page
Typing words
Just words
Meaningless
Unfinished
I know what I want to write
I know what I want you to read
Yet I can’t quite find the right place
The right line
The right time
You left
And it made me want to write
But how can I write something
Already written
Already knowing
The end
