The Ocean
  The waves tossing and turning
Like a dancer in a ballet
  Twisting and kissing my feet
The calming crash against the sand
The cry of the sea gulls in the bay
  The constant blue- green waves
Fighting like baby birds for food from their mother
Silently, like a person in prayer
  I pivot towards the sand
I caress the waves and the sands
The shells, hard against the tender skin of my hand
I look towards the celestial giant
  The mythical being my muse
  It’s grandiose waves crashing
Lapping at my feet with gentle kisses
It is her that I am most alive
Bending with reverence towards the celestial being
My thoughts directed towards this being
This being more god-like, rather than earthly
  This must be Eden
An Eden of water and coarse, yellow sand
