the war from within

anger and resentment
plunder our hearts down
adorned with heavy stitches
our minds are always bound
to shroud the good hope
illuminate the griefs
display our misfortunes
for the other world to perceive.
Working as underlings
feeling misunderstood
we hide ourselves away
and isolate our souls.
We immerse ourselves in misery,
for our paths are dim
and we can never be free
