Dashing through the mall
On a chilly winter day
To the escalator I go
Wondering all the way.
I’m here to buy a ring
To give on a sweet night.
Why is this the way we celebrate
I don’t thinks it’s alright..

Xmas signs Xmas signs
Are always in the way!
Oh what sad it is to say
This is a shopping holiday.

A day or two ago,
I thought I’d ask my guide,
Why Christmas has changed
And has become commercialized;
The truth was short and frank
All joy needs to be bought
This neglect is like an awful prank,
Remember pray this holiday and to give Jesus a spot.
