Writer's Mind

May 10, 2018
By Anonymous

I write too much

My mind can't keep up

While I drink

I'm thinking of a soliloquy

To describe the biterness

Of the hot chocolate on my tongue

If I keep going

I'm afraid you'll see

That my words are all that is left of me

I'm no more than my scratches on the page

I love this. It really captures the image and holds it for the reader to see.

Great poem, your hot chocolate sounds kinda gross but it adds to the imagery.
