Drowning in a sea
My sea of sad memories
Never ending swim
One mistake made then
Disturbs the calm sea’s flowing
But that ship has sailed
Futile attempts to
Hold my breath and keep my life
Can’t break through to you
Water past my chin
But I’m in over my head
One last gasp of air
My body sinks down
Drowned in a sea of mem’ry
Unending diver
