Dogs baying, longing
to be free from their chains, like
Invisible Fence

I was walking by this house with the Invisible Fence, and both dogs looked, and howled, at me so mournfully. They just wanted to be free, and I was sad that I couldn't grant that to them.

I laughed when I read this poem.  It's so true and so pitiful.  My dog always looks so unhappy when he has to be tied up.  This poem could almost have been written for him.
