Long words hate haikus
Like fat women hate their jeans
They rarely fit in them.

The author's comments:
Don't you feel bad for long words like "omniscent" and "gangrenous" and"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"? I mean, they never even have a shot at being included in haikus. Also, do words worry that if they eat too much (of what, though? ink? punctuation?) they will gain syllables? When new words are coined, do they gain syllables as they grow up? There should be Plus Size Haikus, so that even long words are given a chance. Now of course, this is all in jest, but I find it highly amusing
