My River
  Friends can come and go
Through the river we call life
  But you are still here.
  Like a river’s rock
  Blocking the river’s calm stream
  Making a small dam.
  That leaves a deep mark
  An impression that tells me
  You are my best friend.
  Never leaving me
  Alone in the river’s dark
  Currents that hold me.
  Pushing my limits
To make my life’s river turn
  To a new pathway.
  My river of life
  Flows continuously, but
  You are always there.
  My stable rock friend,
Being there for me each time,
  My river thanks you.

Dedicate this to a really close friend. Like a sister to me. Will not be able to see her for long because of school, but will not forget her.
