This is nice, but the first letter not capitalized is bothering me, and this does not follow the 5-7-5 rule of a haiku. Excellent message. Try a free verse poem about the same topic, but go a bit deeper, and write longer. This poem looks like it could have a potential author; I encourage you to continue writing and getting people's opinions. Of course, I know nothing of your life, and if you're already doing these things, that is amazing. You have given me an idea for a future poem. I wish you the best in life. (P.s. I encourage rhyming, arguably the best part of a poem, but never force it.)
