Candy Twins

Short and sweet, Sour and tall

They stand with hair the color of fall

If you owe them money they’ll come for your knees

Cover you with honey and feed you to bees

I’ve seen them do horrible things to simple folk

Watched them pop people's dreams like an egg yolk

POP DROP SLOP

Is the noise you’ll make when they stab you with sharpened candy canes

The dookie twins are known around here

People never gossip in great fear

That they’ll be whipped with licorice

Until they’re screaming in gibberish

CRACK SLAP SNAP

They hit their victims mercilessly

Shoving gobstoppers down their throat

Throwing you into root beer float

I’ve seen them dunk a whole families in chocolate ooze

Feeding gummy bears to giants drunk on booze

They’ll Rob a train with tons of taffy

Melting it all to make them happy

BLAM BOOM BOW!

They run amuck without a sweat on their brow!

They steal whatever they want

And they’ll eat your candy just taunt

The graham cracker guards stay on watch

But the twins blend in like a splotch

Their next score is bigger than ever

600 pounds of fruit leather

What they will do with it I’ll never know

There is no purpose it’s all for show

Unpredictable they waltz through fields of candied corn

These Twins so evil they were not born

Simply pushed into existence and given a job

To hurt those around them, to beat and to rob

Always moving and causing havoc

No fear of pain, running straight into traffic

I’ll leave you with this ,a final warning,

That these twins are scarier than global warming

So if you see that shiny candy flag

Grab your things and pack your bags

Because when the infamous Candy Twins arrive

They won’t be ones to leave anyone alive

So RUN RUN RUN RUN

Because this way the Candy Twins will have more fun

And when they finally catch you, because they always do

They won’t be laughing anymore just… smiling

So creative! The first two stanzas are my favorite… I liked the description of the twins as one being “short and sweet” and the other being “sour and tall”.
