The Girl in the Mirror
Something isn’t right;
Her eyes lack a certain light,
And her skin is too pale
No trace of a smile,
Depressing to the last detail
She keeps staring at me,
Asking quietly, “Can you see?”
I answer her no, but she says nothing
In return I ask her who she is
But she says nothing
I go back to her every day,
And yesterday will replay
The same question;
That remains unanswered
The same look of depression
I can’t stand the image getting clearer;
That terrifying girl in the mirror
She stands there with a scowl
I fall to the ground and she follows,
Before we let out a chilling howl
