Little boy, twelve years old.
Had a dream, a story to be told.
A crazy idea of fortune and fame,
mountains of cash, and platinum records in frames.
He awoke one morn
and decided he needed to escape the norm.
He tried to be the class clown,
but his grades decided to descend down.
He tried to be a book-worm geek.
Too bad he wasn't very meek.
He tried to be a choir student, trained and coached,
till his staff met a sour note.
He tried to be a preacher with a cross on his necklace,
but that didn't work with us.
So he moved onto bigger things.
A hip-hop legend with gold chains and diamond rings.
A mini Slimm Shady?
Hmmm... maybe.
A pretty boy band
or an actor who stuck the land?
How about a Hollywood Player in a tabloid magazine
from a dog eat dog scene.
Possible release his own cologne
and buy Beverly Hills all on his own.
A male model with perfect hair.
By seventeen, a billionaire.
But right now,
he starts with this crown:
Little boy, twelve years old.
Had a dream, a story to be told.
A crazy idea of fortune and fame,
mountains of cash, and platinum records in frames..
