Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. -Helen Keller

School should be abandoned on rainy days
And made into heaven for a bibliophage
Where one could sift through countless books
And ignore the librarian's impatient looks
The pages of a book have an unmistakable smell
Which is even much sweeter than the peal of a bell
The bookworm clutches the beloved books to his chest
As he vows to read them before his noon rest

I really like this, it has great rythme and rhyme. Also, great imagery and I smell the books and relate to the emotion. Excellent topic really. If have the chance, please check my poetry. I think you might like My Eternal Summer or Here, I Can Barely Think. I'd love to know what you think of those. I'll look for more of your work!
