I Am Better Without You
Never has my world been more clear
Than when you are not near
Never thought my life would be so bright
Than when you decided to leave my sight
When you left I was hurt
Felt like I had been pushed in the dirt
But now I see how much better I am
And frankly, I couldn’t give a d***
Because why would I waste my time with you
When I could move on to the better and the new
What are you to me,
Than just some bad memory?
I’m not going to waste my time
On sad songs and rhythms
I’m not going to waste my energy on us
Or thinking of ways to make your life a fuss
You don’t deserve to be on my mind
I have been released from your bind
For you are well beneath me
From you I have been set free
