Never Know
VERSE:
Your breath in my ear
As you hug me from behind
You are my best friend
And yet you make me cry
Laying next to you
On the beach;
Castles made of sand
Your fingers, they haunt me
I just want to hold your hand
CHORUS:
You say you love me
But you don’t even know
How you make me feel
No, no
You are my whole world;
The sun in my sky
The rain in the clouds
Are the tears in my eyes
VERSE:
Your eyes, how they shine
When you look at his face
The love in your smile
Takes me to a dark place
If you only could know
What you do to me
If only the world
Would let you see
CHORUS:
You say you love me
But you don’t even know
How you make me feel
No, no
You are my whole world;
The sun in my sky
The rain in the clouds
Are the tears in my eyes
You say you love me,
No, no
But you don’t even know
You’ll never know

This is a song about how the world still doesn't fully except all of the sexualities. It is told from the point of view of a girl who is in love with her best friend, but can't tell her because she is afraid that her friend won't except her. It is also pretty personally relatable to me.
