Verse 1:
The air was quiet around them
There was phlegm on the
Ground
…
Hearts were aching
“Someone save him
“Please”
Verse 2:
They searched for Him
The One able heal their
Brother
(Hmm)
But He remained two days
For their faith
Testing
Bridge:
The atmosphere changed
At the stone-buried grave
They cried in rawness
They cried
Chorus 1:
“Where are You?
Where are You?
Why aren’t you here,
To save our brother?
How much longer?
How much longer?
How long do we need to wait
To witness a miracle?”
Verse 3:
Sleeping was he in that bed
Four days passed and
Silence
…
A tear slipped her cheek
She collapsed on her
Knees
Before the grave
Bridge:
The atmosphere changed
At the stone-buried grave
They cried in the quiet
They cried
Chorus 2:
“If You were here
He would’ve survived
The suffering he endured
Would’ve faded away”
But Jesus, oh Jesus
He said, He said,
“Have faith,
He’ll rise again.”
Verse 4:
The night grew dark
The stars twinkling in the
Sky
…
Jesus’s heart was filled
With compassion for
Them
Verse 5:
The tears slipped down his cheeks
The first and final weep
Bridge:
The atmosphere changed
At the stone-buried grave
Jesus cried
Jesus cried
Chorus 3:
“Lazarus, walk free
To me”
They both stood, shocked
As a man strode from the grave
And Jesus bowed
Before His Father,
“Thank You for hearing Me”
And they all witnessed a miracle.
