Enclosed by the pervading night
we traded vows of moral consciences
and then a sinister heart
spread its wings throught love

The fruit told me
that He is watching
and He makes the dreams come true
and the 'today' will turn to 'nothingness'

Why me? With a budding flower
that grows on hate
which lives in a world of 'paradise'

Into the pervading night
we traded vows of moral consciences
and then a sinister heart
spread its wings throught love

He won't let a helping hand
reach for my own broken treasure
with everything that is cruel from the past
and confused in the future
I will one day prevail an incandessing sky

Why me? With a budding flower
that grows on hate
which lives in a world of 'paradise'

He won't let a helping hand
reach for my own broken treasure
with everything that is cruel from the past
and confused in the future
I will one day prevail an incandessing sky

Maybe He is trying to reach me, but I am to defiant and scared of what He might judge upon me?

I agree with Carnallace. It's an interesting way to express your thoughts on religion. Nice use of words, too.

Beautiful! The use of quotations around paradise gave this piece an ambiguous feel and kept the perspective changing.

You touch or morals, doubt, and a desire to believe and then give it a symbol, an image, and a name.

I think everyone questions their faith in different ways. Your way just happens expose itself in a truly breathtaking way. :]

Really lovely piece!
