Too much caffeine and I'm shaking so hard
and chasing happiness
is like chasing stars
or running around the old block
you get no where
you get no one

One more moment
One more time
One night stand
One right man
One more right
Left in the night

Knight your mine on a gray stead
rescuing me from all the creed
all this crudeness all this greed
getting high off of all this weed

Weeds of lust growing in my garden of time
Among the daffodils blooming with life
You pull me down down
Silent sunflowers scream with sound

Sounds like a piano playing off key
Seems like you played me off key
Seconds tick by beats of a rhythm
Sing to your own beat fly-y-y-y-y

Away into the night
trample beauty out of sight
sipping coffee at midnight
gulping shades of gray in the middle
black to the left
white to the right
you left in the night

Night is falling
caffeine rush is failing
new love is flailing
my wings are frosting
over and feeling
you were too good at faking
i was too good at fragile
we were too good at f***ing

so clippety clap into the dawn
breaking over forests and my clean cut lawn
start the coffee pot and wait for it to go on
wait for it to be done
wait for this all to end
