Pure Happiness
I stand there and stutter
Trying so hard to speak
I'm use to looking down
So I don't see whats "too good" for me.
I look up and catch a glimpse
Of that perfect smile. Pure happiness
Our eyes meet and I smile too
All I want is to be with you.
Whenever we were together
I swear the Earth stood still
And God looked down smiled and whispered
"Pure happiness."
If those moments could last forever
Minutes turned to hours
Then we would still be one
And we'd get our "happily ever after."
If I could find you now
Retrace the footsteps that led us apart
Then maybe we could be together
One mind. One heart.
