i remember when i once heard
that we are never free
the only time we are not locked in
is before we came to be
i told you this and you just smiled
i remember what you said to me
'i know that's not true
because when i'm with you
i can be anything i want to be'
'If we're locked in prison,
you broke me through
if we have one chance
then you gave me two
i know i owe you everything
because you gave me my freedom
and i choose to spend it with you'
