Hid behind the wall you’ve been forced to create,
Followed by translucent memories you can’t erase,
Reality that I once knew, reflects inside of your eyes,
Embodied by imprisonment, drowned by silent cries.

This presence stalks you,
Never sleeps,
Follow the line,
To your escape,
Reach inside,
For solitude,
Still you’ll find them.

Hiding from nightmares you relive,
Locked in chains, no more to give,
Torn between a world that you don’t want,
And one where you can’t live,
Your life locked inside a portrait,
It shapes what you have become.
This acid rain keeps pouring in,
But is it water, is it blood?

I watch the ties unravel, as you continue to withdraw,
Slave to what you cannot tear yourself away from,
Time keeps slipping by with actions that we can’t undo,
How can I help you liberate yourself from what’s been killing you?

You reach inside for solitude,
Still you find them.

Totally loved this. It has a good rythym (i think i spelled that wrong) to it and I loved reading it over and over. A++
