Destiny?
I
look back on what I was
 and

 I
 year for it because
 I'm

 Just an echo of me
 now

 Just a sketch of
 What I want to be

 So I
 close my eyes and pretend
 that

 I'm stepping up to bat
 and

 I see the ball

 And I'm
hopin' that I won't let it fall

 And then I
 recognize
 that

 through my eyes
 I'll

Never get to see that ball
 when it doesn't
 fall

 And so I
 ask the question
 Can fate deal with an
 intervention

 Can I
 make a change
 In what was written
 before we came?

 Can I change my destiny?

 Can I re-mold
 me?
