When You're Gone
Why oh why
Did you have to leave me?
 Why oh why
 Did this have to be?
When you went where I could not follow
 And I was left alone.
Left in the dark my insides hollow
To try to find comfort in a song
 Only tears, streaming down
 Now that you’re gone

Our last moment, was too short for us
And it was over, before I could say I love you…
But if I’ll see you again, than why do I fuss?
Because your gone, and I can not feel you,
Your soft touch on my face
 Your words telling me
 That I am beautiful
 Like you they are gone…

 Why oh why
Did you have to leave me?
 Why oh why
 Did this have to be?
When you went where I could not follow
 And I was left alone.
Left in the dark my insides hollow
To try to find comfort in a song
 Only tears, streaming down
 Now that you’re gone

 Who will hold me now?
Comfort me in their loving arms,
Telling me that I matter to them…
 Will you hold me again?
Comfort me in your loving arms,
Telling me that I matter to you…

 Why oh why
Did you have to leave me?
 Why oh why
 Did this have to be?
When you went where I could not follow
 And I was left alone.
Left in the dark my insides hollow
To try to find comfort in a song
 Only tears, streaming down
 Now that you’re gone

I’ll sit and wait for the day
 When we meet again,
And hopefully you will remember me,
And you’ll hold me close to you,
Saying “I’m here now and I won’t let go”
Assuring me that you love me
 That I’m not alone
That you are no longer gone.
