yellow eyes and goodbyes
I know you're sober
But you still falling over past mistakes
And I would appreciate
if you would refrain
from cursing your identity today
Because I honestly still believe
There's more to you than drunken "sorry's"
When will I come to the point
Where I look forward, not look away
and say I believe you, I believe you now
I see you yellow eyes
Murmured a thousand good-byes
This problem is growing
now I'm wondering
Where this person's gone or what they're becoming
And why I'm standing, folding my hands
not walking away this time
not looking away this time
